Hardin County Department of Job and Family Services is currently seeking an energetic Helping Families leader to fill an Income Maintenance Supervisor position. Our Income Maintenance unit currently has a staff of 13. The IM Supervisor would be responsible to organize and direct the development, planning, implementation and monitoring of all programs within Public Assistance. Performs direct and indirect supervisory functions, assures the agency conforms to federal, state and local policies and procedures. Leads, coaches and mentors' staff to adhere to established policies and procedures. Applicants should possess a strong work ethic, have working knowledge of Ohio Public Assistance programs including OWF, SNAP, Medicaid, LTC, NET, Fraud and Benefit Recovery, SCHIP, and other directly related programs. This position also services on the Management Team and has a strong collaborative attitude to work with other units within the agency. The successful candidate should have two years of experience as an Eligibility Referral Specialist II and familiar with Ohio Benefits and On Base systems. Must have excellent attendance positive attitude and a desire to assist families in gaining independence and self-sufficiency.
