VOLUNTEERS NEEDED! SEXUAL ASSAULT ADVOCATE TRAINING: Have you always wanted to volunteer but unsure where? Have you always wanted to give back but been unsure on how to do so? Becoming an advocate is the perfect opportunity! Advocates are needed to respond to hospitals to be a support to victims by not only being present in one of the most difficult times of their life but also to follow up and connect the victim to important resources. This training will train advocates on the critical role the advocate has in working with survivors of sexual violence. Interaction with survivors, advocating for their rights and needs and empowering them on their road to recovery and healing will be discussed in this in depth training.
